This Privacy Policy explains how Vizaeo, Inc. (“Vizaeo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, Free Preview tool, and AI Visibility Analysis Reports (collectively, the “Service”). This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Business Information You Provide: your business name, website URL, physical or service location, and the names of competitors you select for analysis.
• Contact and Account Information: your name, email address, and, if you create an account, your login credentials.
• Payment Information: if you purchase a Report, payment card or billing details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. Vizaeo does not store full payment card numbers on its own servers.
• Usage Data: information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and general device and browser information, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate your Free Preview results and paid AI Visibility Analysis Reports;
• Process payments and deliver the Service you requested;
• Communicate with you about your account, Reports, or customer support requests;
• Improve and maintain the Service, including troubleshooting and security;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

We do not use the business or competitor information you submit for any purpose other than generating your Report and operating the Service.

3. Third-Party AI Platforms and Public Data

To generate your Report, Vizaeo analyzes publicly available information and queries third-party AI platforms (including, without limitation, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, and Perplexity) about your business and the competitors you name. These third-party platforms are operated by companies unaffiliated with Vizaeo and are governed by their own privacy practices, which Vizaeo does not control. Vizaeo is not responsible for how these third-party platforms collect, use, or retain data independent of our Service.

4. How We Share Information

Vizaeo does not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service Providers: companies that help us operate the Service, such as payment processors, cloud hosting providers, and analytics providers, under confidentiality obligations;
• Legal and Safety Reasons: where required to comply with law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Vizaeo, our users, or others;
• Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit some features of the Service, including the Free Preview tool.

6. Data Retention

We retain your Report data and account information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your information as described in Section 8 below, subject to legal retention requirements (such as tax and payment records).

7. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses of your data. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion; Vizaeo does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Residents of the European Economic Area, UK, and other jurisdictions with applicable data protection laws may have additional rights under those laws. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 12.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. Vizaeo does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International Data Transfers

Vizaeo is based in the United States, and information we collect may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of information to these locations, which may have data protection laws different from those of your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy on this page with a new Effective Date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
